    Hi,

    I am using Genesis+Lifestyle with the green option. I would like the excerpt text in my sliders to be White and Larger with no background color so they stand out more against the image.

    I've tried changing the Responsive Slider CSS Excerpt section and this does not work. Any thoughts as to how to fix this?

    Regards,

    Hank

    Try:

    .home .genesis-responsive-slider .slide-excerpt {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    .home .genesis-responsive-slider h2,
    .home .genesis-responsive-slider h2 a {
    color: #ffffff;
    font-size: 28px;
    }

    Hi,

    This code did not work. Do you have any idea why that might be the case?

    Regards,

    Hank

    Are you using any cacheing for your website. Sometimes your code is fine but it just isn't showing up yet if you have cacheing enabled. Just a thought.

    No Caching enabled currently as the site is not yet "live".

    The css was almost correct but genesis-responsive-slider is an ID rather than a class, so it should be:

    .home #genesis-responsive-slider h2,
    .home #genesis-responsive-slider h2 a {
      color: #FFFFFF;
    }

    That did it. I am surprised more people do not need that.

    Happy New Year.
