I'm setting up a Search Form within my website. Below is what I have coded in the Page. I know I'm missing something on the backend. Just not sure what.

    <form class="search" role="search" action="http://www.jblbinsurance.com.com" method="get"><input class="search-input" name="s" type="search" placeholder="To search, type and hit enter." />

    <button class="search-submit btn" role="button" type="submit">Search</button></form>

    That was simple....Thank you!

Do you know how the search function works? For example, if I type in the word 'auto' does the search pull the word auto from every Post and Page?

The WordPress default for search is posts. You have to set a filter to include anything else. This article will explain a little more: https://victorfont.com/add-cpts-to-wordpress-searches/
