    Hi,
I have 3 slides in my slider. I am using posts for the slider. I see in the slider settings that you can customize the "More Text" which is the text that links to the slider post. I would like to have each of the 3 slides have different "more text"

Right now I have the text "Learn More..." on all 3 slides but I would like to have each slide have different more text.

Can someone help me with the php, which files to edit, and tell me if editing the files of the slider will have future negative effects?

    Thank you very much

Don't edit the slider plugin code.

This filter: genesis_pre_get_option_slideshow_more_text should allow you to short circuit that option and change it per slide... but the bigger question is: where is the per slide more button text stored? Which means post meta, a meta box, etc. More than I can give you without building you a custom or forked plugin. Someone else may have the time or inclination to tackle that...

Consider choosing a more full featured slider that has this built in vs attempting to hack the Genesis responsive slider which hasn’t been updated since WP 3.4.2.
