    Hi guys,

I am using the "Associate" theme and have created custom menu links that open in the same window. I would like to have them open in a new window but there isn't an option for it.

I didn't see a search box on this forum to see if this question has been asked before.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

under Appearance - Menus click on Screen Options on the top right of the screen.
Select Link Target on the bottom left.

This will add a check box "Open link in new window" underneath the navigation label.

If you go to Appearance/Menus, then click on screen options in the upper right of the screen, you'll be able to activate the Link Target checkbox. This is a built-in WordPress feature that allows you to designate the link target for any menu item.
