I'd like to use
add_theme_support('custom-log'); instead of custom-header option because it makes more sense to me to change the logo in Site Identity section instead of Header Image in Appearance > Customize panel.
I'd very appreciate if any of you kindly guide me how to use this function correctly so that I can see the logo on the same position where custom header image was located.
the correct code is
add_theme_support( 'custom-logo' );
Neil has a tutorial on this: https://wpbeaches.com/using-new-custom-logo-theme-support-genesis/
Thank you so much! That's exactly what I needed.
