    How do I make it so that I can insert a site logo in the center of the header of my theme that has total dimensions of 1055 x 210?

    I'm using the Magazine theme.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    To change the custom header size you'll have to make changes in your functions.php file...please use caution when editing this file since one typo can cause you to white screen and not get into your site. If you have access via FTP or file access through your host account as a backup, you'll be OK.

    So, in your functions.php file look for an entry that says //*Add support for custom header and change the height and width of that to whatever you like.

    Next in your style.css file you'll need to check this section .header-image .site-title a { , it has a min-height entry you'll most likely need to increase so your image fully shows. When you have that looking like you want it, make sure you test it on mobile. You may have to make adjustments to your media queries which are at the bottom (usually) of your style.css file and look like this@media only screen and (max-width: 1023px) {

    Hope that helps!
