    Hi,

I am using the Dynamik child theme. But I believe the fix I am looking for is a general Genesis code or plugin.

I have chosen a header image to appear across my site. However, I would like to be able to have the "feature Image" show up as the header image on certain posts and pages.

It doesn't have to be the featured image. It could simply be a header image that I choose from my media library. But using the feature image would be ideal.

I tried using the Genesis Custom Header plugin. But it just adds a second header image to the default site wide header image. it stacks them one above or below the other.

I also tried turning off my header image altogether site wide so that I could put a custom header on each page individually, but then the archive pages have no header at all since the Genesis Custom Header Plugin can only place a custom header on pages and posts but not on archive pages or 404 pages.

Use the WP Display Header plugin which requires custom header support

    or

Hand code it so you can use the featured image as the header which is included in some default themes

Dynamik does not have custom header support.

The code I am looking for may be for:

if isn't an archive page, remove the site header.

Anyone have knowledge of that code.
