CSS3 Dropshow Featured Image

Hi all -

I am trying to apply a css drop shadow (effect-2 http://www.paulund.co.uk/creating-different-css3-box-shadows-effects) to the featured image of a featured page in a widget area on the frontpage of the Education theme.

What is the best way to do this? I want to use css as the theme is responsive and I believe this would work better than using an image (and would be a lighter load on mobile devices).

Can anyone help me figure this one out?

The first thing you need to do is find the class for the image you want to apply the effect to.

Firebug enables you to do this as you can inspect any element to find the correct classes.

Then you can use the classes with the code depending on which effect you want to apply to the image.

There are many effects on that tutorial. Which one do you want to use?

With this particular style you can not apply it directly to the image as suedo classes (before & after) do not work the same as on a class/id in a div.
