    Hi,

I have been using FTP to edit CSS. I have never used the CSS editor in Genesis. Is it more simple and effective to edit CSS from dashboard or from FTP ?

Editing css from WordPress Dashboard is easy and quick. You can always save existing copy of style.css file on local PC before making changes to revert back quickly.

    It's up to you.

I am on a windows machine, and I personally like to use fireftp (an extension in firefox) as my ftp client, and set it to open the style.css file with notepad++

That way, when you click save in notepad++, it will automatically update the CSS file on your server.

But it is up to you. With notepad++, you can always UNDO changes and then resave to roll back to a prior version of your css file (as long as you haven't closed the program).

    Hope this helps.
