The demo is not working as most of the tabs on the navbar do nothing and I wanted to see the colors options before I bought this theme. I emailed Jessica, the woman who owns this theme, but have not heard back at all. That is starting to make me think this is not a good idea to purchase this theme!
I was wondering what kind of experience others have had w/ getting tech support from her or getting questions answered and if the theme was easy to work with.
Thank for any info!
August 16, 2013 at 1:44 pm #56874AnitaKeymasterThere have been some recent changes with the developers of Cre8tive Burst which has now been named Creative Burst (without the 8). The theme works properly but you should ask your pre-sales questions probably with The Pixelista since it is a marketplace theme and not a Studiopress theme.
I used to provide support for the previous owner (Shannon of Eight Crazy Designs) however Jessica of The Pixelista is providing her own support now.

August 16, 2013 at 2:51 pm #56894KimMemberThank you. Yes, that's who I emailed on her contact page because the support page asks for info I don't yet have since I haven't purchased it yet. Hummm, I need to get this site going. I appreciate your feedback. It's good to know that the theme works properly once downloaded.
August 16, 2013 at 2:55 pm #56897AnitaKeymasterWell, let me say this - I had it on my site until I just switched to play around with the sample 2.0 theme. You won't be disappointed. The mobile responsiveness is really smooth. The only issue you may have is the Genesis Featured Tweets plugin - some people are having difficulty getting it to work. If you have that problem, post back here or send me an email directly.

August 16, 2013 at 3:02 pm #56899KimMemberGreat, thanks again for your help. We won't be using the Twitter plug-in so that won't be a problem. I guess I'll go for it! I had a chance about a month or so ago to take a look at the color options when they were working and from what I remember they were what I was looking for (without having to do a bunch of customization). I made sure to bookmark the theme so I could go back to it once my contract w/ my client was finalized.
I am also looking to purchase the Crave theme for another site I'll be working on as well. Do you have any thoughts/feedback on that theme? Both these sites are for a women's ministry and I feel like they both would work and I love how they look!
Thanks,
Kim
August 16, 2013 at 3:07 pm #56903AnitaKeymasterI know when Crave first came out it was not mobile responsive, but it is now. I haven't had a chance to install it yet so I cannot provide a testimony for that one yet. Even if you have to change colors - with the color options being in the style sheet, you can easily change them to whatever you want.

August 16, 2013 at 3:20 pm #56910SusanModeratorKim & Anita - Jessica recently published a You Tube video on the Latest Tweets Plugin, because of some changes made with the Twitter API. She explains how to authenticate the new API to enable it to work with her themes:

August 24, 2013 at 12:32 pm #58606KimMemberSo sad, but unfortunately I've emailed Pixelista twice and heard NOTHING. She is obviously not supporting this theme any longer I guess. I emailed her pre-purchase -- to this day NOTHING. I emailed for support after I purchased and it's been like 4 days and NOTHING. Glad these forums are available to us or I would still be in a frustrated state trying to figure out my problem! Sad that these themes are so good, but you get no support. Others should be aware prior to purchase.
August 24, 2013 at 12:38 pm #58608AnitaKeymaster@Kim, if you need some one on one assistance with Creative Burst, send me an email on my website. I'll be happy to take a look for you.

August 24, 2013 at 12:43 pm #58609KimMemberThank you. I'm good for now. I just was expecting more than just being ignored. =( I appreciate your offer.
August 24, 2013 at 1:22 pm #58617thepixelistaMemberHi Kim, I am so sorry you've had trouble getting in touch with me! I've done my best to ensure that all pre-sales and support questions are answered promptly and I haven't missed any to my knowledge. That said, I admit it has been a crazy month getting things transitioned over (I just acquired the rights to 4 of my 5 themes as of August 1st and have been busy updating all of them for Genesis 2.0) so it's very possible I could have missed something. I pride myself on my customer service, so I sincerely apologize for your bad experience. If there are ever any questions I can answer for you, please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected].

August 24, 2013 at 1:26 pm #58619KimMemberThanks, Jessica. I appreciate that. I know sometimes emails get lost or end up on spam, etc. It's not a huge deal, it was just disappointing. I am thankful for those here on the forums who helped me and did give you rave reviews. That's why I purchased the theme and I plan to purchase another one as well. Have a great day.
