Currently, I am using the Mai Pro Lifestyle theme. The WordPress search function will show results as full text, and this isn't good because most of my posts are 2500+ words long.

I have looked at various plugins and options, for some odd reason I can't find a solution to this. Can someone help?

What I would like to see, on the search results page, is something like the post title with a short expert maybe, doesn't have to be fancy just a link to the post that has the search term would be fine.

Hey @ebeard, the search template in Mai Theme follows the archive settings in Customizer > Mai Content Types > Archive Defaults. Hope that helps.

If you want direct Mai Theme support the best place is https://support.maitheme.com too 🙂

@JiveDig thanks, those settings worked perfectly! Not sure how I managed to miss them the first time. 🙂
