    Hello everyone,

This is my 1st time posting, so please excuse me if I have posted to the wrong area or are somewhat unfamiliar with forum rules. I'll take any feedback, including tips about forum etiquette 😉

I am building a site using Streamline Pro. With a few tweaks, it's nearly perfect. I have one issue I've been chasing around for days and can't seem to find the solution I need. In a nutshell:

I need to create a page that displays all the posts within a certain category in an attractive grid like fashion.
I had previously used the Executive theme and their portfolio option, and though it worked ok, I need a few more features.

The page will ultimately be an index of articles, so I'd like it to show a featured image, the post title and an excerpt. Many of the portfolio solutions I've found are for photography blogs and only show an image with no options for accompanying text.

I've looked at plugins, I've looked at code. For a few reasons, including the fact will ultimately be managed by someone else, I'd rather use a plugin for this solution.

The problem: no matter what grid or portfolio plugin I've used, the theme seems to override it and STILL display the posts as a list, one on top of the other. *confused*

I wrote studiopress and they suggested I bring my issue to the forum here.

Has anyone figure out a way to incorporate a portfolio or grid view within Streamline Pro?!? Any tips? Any suggestion for a plugin that's known to work?

I've tried the genesis grid that works with a loop, but that apparently effects the layout on the whole site. I couldn't get it to work anyway.

Bah. Again, I'd love a solution that is plugin based. If it can't be found, any suggestions on how to code it in would be helpful. Perhaps another studiopress theme uses this kind of template and I can grab the code from there and drop it in?

    Thanks!

You can do this several ways using CSS and/or PHP code.
