I must admit, i'm a bit rusty at this. Bin way to long since i've worked with child themes.

How do i make a child theme for Infinity Pro where i can make my changes to the code, not only css ?

Using what WordPress describes on their site about, does not give me a Infinity Pro child. It looks like a mix if with some other theme.

    All the best

Infinity Pro is a child theme.

You can create a 2nd style sheet or add CSS changes to the end of the file and create a custom functionality plugin for custom PHP code however WordPress does not support child themes of child themes.
