Here is what I would like to do.

I would like to add a background behind the content and have the navigation and header above that. Here is an example. http://www.letsmove.gov/

I figured I just need to either move the nav and header divs outside of the wrap div or create a new div inside the wrap ( the latter seems the most logical) but I have no idea how to do that with the Genesis framework. I am new to this (but not to WordPress).

Can anyone point me in the right direction (tell me what to do) 🙂

    My test site is http://test1.moragareid.com/

    Thanks

I'm sure there are multiple possible solutions.

    I gave your #inner a background color and some padding like 50px 20px 0

    then I gave your subnav a margin-bottom:  -20px

    Tada!! Thanks for your input.

I also had to work with the CSS for the responsive slider, but you got in heading in the right direction. Thank you!
