I am using the Modern Portfolio Pro Theme, and would like to create a "Posts" page which shows some of my posts and then has the numbered pagination links at the below for additional posts.

However, I also want to keep my widgetized front page that comes with the Modern Portfolio Pro.

In the Settings > Reading part of the Dashboard, if I switch to the Static front page so that I can use also select the Posts page, I lose my widgetized front page. But if I leave it as "Your latest posts" I get the widgetized front page, but not any way to use a Posts page.

Any way to do this with a custom page template or a shortcode on a page?

Use the default Reading settings to displays post on the front page and create a new page using the Blog template from the drop down menu in the Page Attributes meta box.

Wow, that was easy. Don't know how I missed that. Thanks!

Quick follow-up question ... I cannot seem to change how many blog posts appear on this page. It has 5, but if I change the setting in Settings > Reading to some other number, such as 7 or 10, it still only shows 5. Any way to change this?
