    Greetings,

I'm using the NEWS child theme and I'd like to customize my category listing template so it uses:

    content-sidebar-sidebar

I'd also like to have the first sidebar be the "sidebar alt" and the second sidebar be the "sidebar"

I'd also like for the "sidebar" (the second one) to be the size it was before we swapped the order they are in.

I switched the sidebars around by using Bill Erickson's code: http://www.billerickson.net/switch-genesis-sidebars/

It's current state after switching them around:

    Content : 425px
    Sidebar Alt: 305px
    Sidebar:  105px

I'd like for it to end up being:

    Content : 425px
    Sidebar Alt: 105px
    Sidebar:  305px

What's the best way to do this?

Can you post a link to your site? Here is also another way of doing it - http://genesistutorials.com/snippet/switch-genesis-default-sidebars-with-markup/. But the Content-Sidebar are in one DIV while the Sidebar Alt is in another - so you will need to do some tweaking of the CSS.

Oh, I see. There's a better way than hacking the code. Use the Genesis Simple Sidebars Plugin - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-simple-sidebars/. For the Home Page - use the Primary Sidebar. Create a new Sidebar for the Inside Pages and add content to that. This way you can add information to the Secondary Sidebar that will fit that column. You won't need to switch the columns.
