Hi, I'm thinking of using the Community Pro theme for the first time. Before I buy and start I would like to know if there are options for the menu to display differently? I would rather it show horizontally at the top. Are there widget and location options in the admin? Do I need snippet code for the functions file? (I have done that but am not too familiar with it.)

I am just starting to build so there is no URL yet.

I went over to the theme website and asked that question via the support link. This is the reply I received about having a regular horizontal menu for desktop view:

As of right now, there is no support for a horizontal nav. It would be a fairly complex procedure to remove the side-menu support and to restyle the primary navigation, but it's possible if you know you're way around jQuery and CSS.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello @HeatherO,

Sorry for being late on noticing your post here. Like @jonahgirl said, there is currently no support for a horizontal menu.

We are planning on releasing a tutorial in the near future on converting the vertical nav to a horizontal one, so if you're interested in that be sure to sign up to the newsletter to get it when it's published.

Again, sorry for the late response!
