I tried to follow this thread- column classes in the "old forum": but don't really understand how to put columns in a widget as they discussed. i want to use the feature widget on the home page and have two columns of posts display instead of one column. Also, in my quest for the "idiot question of the day award" what is this "post/page editor" that is referred to in the column classes code snippets thingie. 🙂

    Thanks

The post/page editor is where you enter your content into a post or page. If you are using a text widget then you just enter your HTML into that with the column classes you want to use. If you are using the featured page widget then you need to set it to include the full content since setting a content limit strips out HTML tags.

What code? You put the HTML in the post/page editor and the style rules from the tutorial in your style sheet if they aren't there already.

Did it and it worked- kinda- will take some foolin' with the CSS to get to my liking.  Thanks for all your help. I need to take a break from this for a couple of work days. Have good Thanksgiving
