    Good evening. I'd like to add a [...] below my featured post at like it appears in the older posts that appear below my featured post.
    Can anyone assist me with an easy way to do this?
    I really don't want to do an customization to my theme's code, but I would like the [...] to appear below the post.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Greg

    Go to Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives and change the settings there.

    There's also a drop down where you can select to display post excerpts or display post content with a character limit.

    Choosing excerpts will give you the brackets [...] without a read more link.

    Choosing content will give you the ability to determine how long the excerpt is and also display a clickable read more link.

    Effective for archives (the older posts) but not for the featured post. At least not at my site:

    You could use this code to customize the continue reading link on featured posts http://www.briangardner.com/code/customize-read-more-link/

    One last question. How do I get the same ... that I have in the main feature rather than the [...] effect that I have in the older posts in http://www.gregorywoodard.com.

    Thanks,
    Greg

    Thanks. I still get the [...] effect, so I just changed the feature to get the same effect. I would still like to have them all be ... rather than [...].

    I think you'll need to modify Brian's code so the read more link is all the site globally. Once you change the content archives settings to display post content, then the code should will only display .......................

    '&quot;&gt;</a>';
