Hi guys i'm currently using the Magazine Pro Theme.
Today i received a update alert that genesis 2.1.2 is available and asking me if i want to update. I have one doubt.
I have already customised a few things in my theme if i update will i lose all those customisations.
Now what should i do to update without losing the customisations i have already done? I heard something about a child theme. If i have to create a child theme should i just copy and paste things from my already existing magazine pro theme and continue or how should i proceed?

Magazine Pro is a child theme of Genesis. As long as your edits haven't been in the Genesis Framework files, you can update without worry. (Not that that should stop you from making the appropriate backups to be on the safe side!) 🙂
