    I am using the Lifestyle theme. There are light gray bars between posts and I would like to change the image. Where and how do I do that?

    My blog: http://www.yourdailydance.com/

    Thank you for your help.

    The image is set in your stylesheet. You can look for this rule to change the background to something else:

    .post {
    background: url(images/line.png) bottom repeat-x;
    margin: 0 0 25px;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0 0 25px;
    }

    Thank you Andrea. I tried replacing the url portion with the url of the divider image, but nothing happens.

    Can you put it back in and leave it, then let me know? That way I can look to see why it's not showing up.

    I put it back - looking at it, I may need to tweak the image a bit, but it still is not showing up.

    I'm still seeing the original path (images/line.png) in your stylesheet.

    This is what I see:

    .post {
    background:http://s1351.photobucket.com/user/thehands1/media/border_zpsdd6ca5f9.png.html?sort=3&o=0 bottom repeat-x;
    margin: 0 0 25px;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0 0 25px;
    }

    Okay, two things:

    (1) Do you have a caching plugin active? That may be why I can't see the change to the stylesheet.

    (2) The link you're using doesn't go directly to the image - it goes to a page with the image on it. Try uploading the image to your WP media library and using the direct URL instead.

    I tried it that way originally and could not get it to work either.

    Here is what I have now.

    .post {
    background:http://yourdailydance.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/border-pic-jpg.jpg bottom repeat-x;
    margin: 0 0 25px;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0 0 25px;

    I do have W3 Total Cache installed.

    Thank you for your help.

    Can you use the "empty all caches" option? Right now I'm still seeing the old stylesheet.

    Oh, and I just noticed you're missing something in your background rule. Change it to this:

    background: url(http://yourdailydance.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/border-pic-jpg.jpg) bottom repeat-x;

    You'll need to empty your cache again afterward.

    The bottom repeat-x; is there - does it need to be underneath it? I cleared my cache and still don't see anything.

    Thank you so much for your help and your patience!

    No, it's not the repeat-x; it's url() around the URL to the image.

    I still don't see it either; where exactly are you placing the CSS rules?

    Thank you so much Andrea! Somehow I missed this message earlier. That did the trick. I'm going to change the image, but at least now I know how to get it there.

    Thanks again!
