    I am a very very beginner. I have managed to do some customizations to the Prose theme, but the one I can't figure out for the life of me is how to change the width of the entire wrap or content area. Prose allows you to change the top margin and bottom margin with just the click of a button under 'Design Settings', but they didn't think to allow for customization to the right and left margins.

    According to what I've found googling, the entire wrap is set to 960px. I don't just want to increase the post content area at the sacrifice of the sidebar/widget area. I want to widen the whole thing.

    Thanks!

    The width is set like this in your stylesheet:

    body {
    background: #f5f5f5;
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 970px;
    }

    You can change the width value in your custom CSS, but it will knock everything else on the site out of alignment. You could use a tool like Firebug to inspect each element and change accordingly, though it would be time-consuming. Hope that helps!

    this is very annoying, I thought it would be easy to set the width of sidebar, content and sidebar but boy I was wrong. That is not included in the theme design settings by default even thought it is said that there's very little to no coding needed for this theme. One thing that everyone seems to want is the ability to change the width of either sidebar or content just by adding the numbers, something similar to thesis theme and it's really annoying to figure out how to do just that.

    Can someone explain or, better yet, include this function in the genesis theme by default.
