    Hello,

    I don't know where to change the text for the footer on my website. It's not in customize, nor can I find it widgets or anywhere else.

    Tips?

    Finding the footer code on your site is not possible by looking at the front end.

    Do you have the Genesis Simple Edits plugin installed?

    Did you look in functions.php?

    Yes, the simple edits plugin is installed but I don't see an option to change text.

    Add this code into your functions.php file

    add_filter( 'genesis_footer_creds_text', 'paulc_footer_creds_text' );
    function paulc_footer_creds_text( $creds ) {
    	return sprintf( '[footer_copyright before="%s"] · %s',
    		__( 'Copyright', 'text-domain' ),
    		__( 'All Rights Reserved', 'text-domain' )
    	);
    }

    Thank you. I added it to to the functions file but how can I change the footer text now?
