    I really like the Ambiance theme. Besides one thing. or two. is there a way to fix to a "normal" menu set up? Also wandering about the possibility to place an ad above the footer on main page. Thankful for any advice!

    **Warning, before executing any code changes, be sure to back up your Style.css file to your desktop.**

    Look for this and remove it:

    .responsive-menu {
        display: none;
    }

    Then look for this and delete it.

    .responsive-menu {
         display: none;
    }

    #responsive-menu-icon {
         cursor: pointer;
         display: inline-block;
         margin-top: 10px;
    }

    #responsive-menu-icon:before {
         color: #FFFFFF;
         content: "";
    }

    #responsive-menu-icon:before {
         font: 36px/1 'dashicons';
    }

    .shrink #responsive-menu-icon:before {
         font: 24px/1 'dashicons';
    }

    Do not remove any code that looks like this in the response/media queries area.

    For the footer, you will need to register a new sidebar for that area, then add in the CSS for desktop and mobile.
