    Hi!

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet but I was wondering if there was a way to change the way the link is displayed for Author Pro's library function.

    So instead of: book/item-name-here/

    It would be: product/item-name-here/

I love the overall appearance of Author Pro and want to use it but my intended use is for products rather than books and I feel like that /book/ will probably throw it off.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe you can use a filter to change the name of the CPT slug. Check the plugin files to find the filter, if it exists.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I looked into the plugin files and found where to replace and rewrite the CPT slug but after replacing it with my new name all my pages crashed.

I'm going to assume the problem lies where the name needs to be replace elsewhere too but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it at the moment.

I'm going to continue to try and figure out this problem. I was wondering if you would have any more insight but if not I completely understand. Thanks!

Never edit a plugin. I suggest you look for a filter in the plugin which you can then use in the child themes functions file to modify the default output. The plugin author may be able to help you.
