    HI,
I have some problems with my header image on smaller devices. I set the background-size to cover, but this is not working when the background image in the css is set in background in stead of background-image. When background is used for the background-image set in WordPress itself (custom header) all the other declarations for the header are ignored. So I want for the custom header in WordPress change this to background-image: ...
    background-repeat:...

so I can set AND use background-size. Since this is in genesis or in WordPress I need a snippet to change this. But how and where?
Hope someone can help me out.. of has another good idea to set the background image to display in full width in stead of only a part
See http://www.prlt.nl what I mean. The header image is not responsive.

    With regards

    Hi,

background is just the shorthand. http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp
You should be able to add your changes using background.

Or even better, use a HTML image: https://sridharkatakam.com/inline-logo-in-genesis

I would use backstretch for this as all header elements will then display over the image including the site title, tagline and header right widget content.
