    I'm using the "beautiful" theme and the font is somewhat light and difficult to read. Is there a way to override the default font?

    Studio Press themes use Google fonts. The are enqueued in functions.php. You can change the fonts here, or use Google fonts locally to receive a slight performance boost.

    Once you change the fonts, you have to look for every instance of font-family in style.css and style-front.css and change it accordingly.
