    I am using Lifestyle Pro with the purple color scheme. I want to have the text of the blockquote to be a light purple color.
    I have been able to change the quote sign at the beginning to the color I would like for the text, but have not been able to change the text color. It picked up the italics, but not the color. Here is the code I'm using:

    blockquote,
    blockquote::before {
    	color: #755e7b;
    }

    blockquote {
        color: #755e7b;
        font-style: italic;
    }

    Should I be putting the code in the purple color scheme section?

    Thanks for your help.

    There was legacy code that was over-riding the blockquote text color.
