Can I put a slider (or other widgets) in the Home 1 widget area of Centric Pro?

Or does it have to be the text widget which is shown in the demo??

In short, will the Home Widget Areas in centric pro allow for most any type of widgets?

Or are the Home Widget Areas specific to only certain kinds of widgets?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

the widget areas are not really specific to certain kinds of widgets.
Sometimes they have special styling to show three columns of posts or pictures but that styling can be changed / removed.

    You can add a slider:

You'd probably want to change the max-width in .home-featured .wrap.
