    HI - I'd like to display different background images on different pages (to display behind page titles). Is there a straightforward way to do this?

    I'm not sure if this will help you at all, but I found this plugin, haven't tried it yet, myself:

    Custom Header Extended

    I am using the Centric theme and wanted to do the same thing. Here is a link to the code I put in my functions.php file and styles.css file to do this.
