    Hey guys, I want to:

    a) center my full-width content, and
    b) create a margin on the left and right side, forcing the content to not display so wide

    For example, I want the content to be padded and centered like:

    -signalvsnoise: https://signalvnoise.com/
    -medium: https://medium.com/@ireneau/understanding-ux-skills-21ad9c22f0bf
    -groovehq: https://www.groovehq.com/blog/roi-of-blog

    How should I go about making these changes in my style sheet?

    I tried 2 different things. First, I tried changing:

    .full-width-content .content {
    width: 100%;

    **problem - reducing width to 80% only changes the left margin

    Next, I tried changing:

    /* ## Site Containers
    --------------------------------------------- */

    .site-inner,
    .wrap {
    margin: 0 auto;
    max-width: 1200px;

    **Problem: reducing max-width to 950px messed with the header and navigation menu, causing it to appear strangely

    Is there any way to get the content of posts/pages to appear in a 950px container, while still allowing the header to appear as if it's in a 1200px container?

    Change line 526 to
    .full-width-content .content {
    width: 80%;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }
    Then remove float: right; on line 509
