    Hello, I would like to have my post titles centered in the slider, but cannot seem to get it to work. I have tried the following:

    .slide-excerpt {
    background-color: #fff;
    filter: alpha(opacity=60);
    display: block;
    margin: 0 auto !important;
    opacity: 0.6;
    padding: 10px;
    position: absolute;
    z-index: 8;
    }

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi there,

    Can you please post a link to your site so we can see what you're looking at?

    A link would definitely help, but if you can't post a link try adding:

    left: 0;
    right: 0;

    That might take care of it, but if not it's really hard to say without a link.

    Please try:

    .slide-excerpt h2 {
    	text-align: center;
    }

    May also require an "!important" declaration.

    Thanks for your replies, and I am sorry it took me some time to come back to say that Tony's solution worked! (Was unable to include a URL due to the site being hosted locally.)
    Thanks again

    Glad to hear you got it all sorted out! With absolute position, you usually have to add that along with "margin: 0 auto;" to center your container.

    Have a great weekend!

    I'm trying to figure out how I can center the type as well but I'm having no luck, I'm using !important which is not ideal as my child CSS doesn't seem to override the plugin's styles. Does anyone here have thoughts that might point me in the right direction?

    I wonder if the Slider settings that specify: left, right, are overriding any style changes...but I'm not sure.

    Cheers
    c
