Since the <center> tag markup was depreciated in HTML 4.01 and is NOT supported in HTML5 you might want to consider using one (or more) of these CSS methods -
http://www.w3.org/Style/Examples/007/center.en.html

In my own limited experience If you want to center your Google ad with a method that will work in both HTML 4.01 and HTML5 you can place the ad script between <p style="text-align: center;"> and </p>

So, thanks for the answers. I had read that that tag wouldn't work in HTML5, but I threw it in there and it worked! I tried to use the CSS code for centering an image, and I tried it in a few places, since I wasn't totally sure where to put it- no luck with that, but I was probably doing it wrong.

Where would I place it if my ad code is this:

I have it at the very top- before my header. It's centered okay now with the html tags- so thanks.
