Center 2 featured homepage images in top row

Hi Everyone,

I'll be using the Executive Pro theme and was wondering if anyone had some advice regarding the homepage featured pages/posts. On the homepage of this theme, there are typically 3 images in a row across the top (see image below)

I would like to only have 2 images in this top row, and have them center on the page, as opposed to how they are programmed to land on the page; left or center or right slot. I would like two images to center like the sample below:

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to accomplish this?

Hi Jeanne,

this involves a bit of css work.

First, you'd have to separate a few css selectors that target .home-middle and .home-top with the same attributes.
(Otherwise changes intended only for .home-top will also affect the .home-middle row.)
Around line 1272 separate .home-middle, .home-top
and around line 1282 separate .home-middle .widget, .home-top .widget {

Second, to the now separate .home-top add text-align: center;
(To avoid the text of the widget being centered as well, you could add
.home-top p {
text-align: justify;
}
right underneath)

Third, in the now separate .home-top .widget remove or comment out float: left; and add display: inline-block;
