    Hi,

I am trying to find a plugin or get help with coding, so that the blog template page only shows posts from one category. Currently the website has 3 blog post categories, set as pages in the nav menu. They are showing as archive pages, which is fine for two of the pages, but I'd really like one category to show as the "blog template" page -- showing excepts from each post in that category. There is currently no blog page template on the site.

I've looked at a few plugins but they were either no longer supported or not compatible, etc. Does anyone have a recommendation for a plug that will create a category specific blog page -- or point me in the direction to change the code to make this happen?

Website is beta.kootenaifarmersmarkets.org, using the child theme Divine, 3rd Party by Restored 316.

    Thank you! Candace

Try the Genesis > Theme Settings > Blog Page Template settings which enable you to display 1 category of posts or exclude posts from specific categories.

    Otherwise, you can use pre_get_posts.

Thanks -- I was able to figure this out, first by using custom fields and then the duh moment of setting a category in the theme setup. But, I appreciate your quick response and suggested solution! Candace
