I have searched through these archives but can't find an answer....so I am hoping for help.

I am using Parallax....

In looking at other Parallax sites in the showcase, many are using category pages the way I wish to...I just can't find how to set them up.

What I would like is something that looks like this:

this is a page on the menu that then also breaks down into sections that can link to appropriate pages....

OR this page that has categories and I can link to each subcategory....

What my needs would be for example is I have a page that is for hiking. On that page I would like to show multiple categories that contain the title, image and maybe a blurb. So I could have 3 subcategories under the page of hiking that would be for trail writings, trail challenges, favorite gear.
