Can't move custom blog page title

Hi,

I have a custom blog page on my site. This was set up by setting the appropriate page as my "Posts page" in Settings -> Reading. I would like to move the page title so it sits above both the loop and sidebar. However, I cant even remove it. I have the Genesis Visual Hook Guide plugin installed but it does not tell me what filter hook the title is using. I've tried the following snippets in an attempt to even remove it (all of them inside an if (is_page('Blog')) condition:

remove_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_post_title', 15 );
remove_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
remove_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_posts_page_heading', 15 );
remove_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_posts_page_heading' );
remove_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_do_post_title' );

Nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Use the default reading settings and create a custom blog page template

Then you can add code to this file to reposition the title.

I created a second test page and applied this temlate to it. All that showed was the title of the page (twice). I even tried putting the custom loop code I used for the blog page and nothing changed.

If you want the page title before the content-sidebar-wrap, use

remove_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
add_action( 'genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
