Can’t Get Uniform Gallery Image Sizes

I am using the Lifestyle Pro theme. I have created an image gallery, which i want to put in a text widget or excerpt, which i have accomplished by adding the following to my following to the functions.php file

add_filter('the_excerpt', 'do_shortcode');
add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');

It shows up and works fine on home page, with all images in the gallery showing as thumbnails. However, on the category archive pages, I get 2 images that are thumbnails and two that are not. All of the images were uploaded as the same size (1px difference) on height and I have regenerated images.

Any thoughts how to get uniform gallery image sizes?

One additional comment, I see a similar problem happening with the Genesis Featured Posts widget. When i set the image size, it works for some of the featured post images, but not others.
