Here's the deal, I've had this new Minimum 2 design since March. Overall, I quite like it. However, as the designer and site developer I can get tunnel vision.
You guys think you can take a look around and critique?
Yes, tell me what's good and tell me what's bad. Tell me the truth. I appreciate the good things you can tell me about my site, but I'm also hard to offend when you tell me the bad. I appreciate constructive criticism. Plus, this is not YouTube (The Land of the Trolls).
So go ahead, rip me a new one if you have to.
The site is catered to car enthusiasts - The people that own and drive cars because they love them and don't see them as mere appliances.
This is the site:http://rallyways.com/
First, great subject line. 😉
Overall the site looks good. A couple of things I noticed:
On the testimonials page it says "We Are People Saying" - I'm thinking it should be "What"? Grammatically it's off.
On the home page "What people are saying" - it's really hard to read the red-ish headline against the dark background. Maybe change that headline color. As for the shade of yellow, it's a little visually jarring, but that's just me. 🙂
Good work! Launch it!
THANKS! Tunnel vision I tell you. Ha. You work on something for so long, you don't see the problems.
Thanks for that info. I'm going to go correct the typo right now.
As far as the "What people are saying" box on the homepage - That's not how I want it to be ultimately. I want to have a slider displaying people's testimonials. Just haven't gotten around to doing it.
This new site was launched earlier this year (March) and it's going really well. Originally it was a Thesis 1.8 design for a whole year, before I decided to move it to Genesis. Essentially, it's a 2 year old site but growing very well.
