    Hi all,

    I'm using the Genesis Sample theme, and when choosing colours in the theme customizer they're not showing in the front-end button colors (they are showing on the edit screen though)

    The button in the cover image here should be blue. http://surfsideyeppoon.aadev.link/

    When inspecting the element, it's getting fonts and colors from /wp-includes/css/dist/block-library/style.min.css?ver=5.2.2

    I have updated everything - WP, plugins, themes.

    Anyone else struck this?

    When you are in the customizer, make sure you are not saving the changes as draft.

    Thanks Anita - I didn't even know that was a thing! I have checked it and I am indeed publishing the changes - they're not a draft.

    However, after poking around I have found the section in lib/output.php that should be outputting the CSS in the header.

    There doesn't seem to be applicable CSS that applies to the buttons, at least not with the specificity required.

    if you view the page source - CSS is there from line 39 (in Chrome on Mac anyway) but I feel there should be references to a.wp-block-button__link for it to work.

    Something like

    a.wp-block-button__link{
    	background-color: %s;
    }

    in the genesis_sample_customizer_get_default_link_color section.

    Have I found a bug or just missed something simpler?

    It's a bit hacky - but I got it working by adding this line in lib/output.php:

    $css.='a.wp-block-button__link{background-color: '.$color_link.';}';

    I find the same problem.
    When I customise my template the color is correct, but when I publish the changes, the color is different from I choose.
    I don't understand what I have to do.
    I understand I can add the line that @ssofnosaj wrote above, but I'm only a user and I don't know in which position I have to put the line in lib/output.php.
    Please, can you help me?
