MemberHello! I'm not very tech savvy, but have a WP blog with the Genesis Framework at http://www.balancinglifeasamom.com. My blog summary page (www.balancinglifeasamom.com/blog) used to have the blog titles attached to the summary, but they no longer are appearing.
I can't pin down exactly when this change happened. I have tried reverting to various backups from 4-5 days ago, but all present with the missing titles. There have been too many updates to my site to try reverting back further.
When I was poking around my WP admin, trying to troubleshoot on my own, I also noted that "blog" is no longer listed in my page attributes drop down list. I'm not sure if this is related to the missing titles or not.
The only major changes I've done was an updated theme (probably within the last 1-2 weeks, can't remember exactly when I did it) and adding script from lead pages to add a pop-up to my pages/posts.
I would really appreciate any insights and help which may bring the blog titles back!
Thank you!
Lesley

ParticipantThe blog page template has been removed from new versions of Genesis. You can use custom fields to create a blog page in new versions.
Or
You could try setting a page named blog as your posts page using the WordPress > Reading settings.

MemberThanks for your insights braddalton. I didn't realize that the blog page attribute was removed in the new versions. Luckily the new blog posts are still showing up on my blog summary page as I wanted them to. However, the titles are still missing.
Were the titles also removed as part of the new Genesis updates?

ParticipantThere's no HTML output for the entry titles that i can see in the source when i inspect your blog page.
Genesis wouldn't remove your titles unless younave installed a plugin or added code to do this in your child theme however you will need to use a different solution to display posts on a posts/blog page.

MemberI can't think of what I might have installed that may have removed the titles (like I said, I'm pretty inept when it comes to WP), but there's a good chance I did something by accident. Is there a piece of HTML that I can insert somewhere that would make the blog titles come back?
