    Hello everyone! I am looking into redesigning my blog, mostly the navigation. This would mean that I have to change most of the permalinks. I am also thinking of changing the theme so I have to make some adjustments. I have the basic idea of what I want to do and how to do it but my dilemma is how to make the changes without going live. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

    I would download a Maintenance Mode plugin. This will put up a splash page when users visit your site. You can prompt them to sign up for your newsletter or visit you on facebook while you are under constructions. There are tons of free options and paid ones.
