I created my first blog post and I would like this post to show up on another page as well. When I did the blog post, I assigned the post to the category "Desserts." How do I utilize the category archive to get this post to appear on my "Recipes > Desserts" page?

I'm new to blogging and don't understand what I'm suppose to do.

    Thanks,

    Jessica

    Hi,

If I understand what you need correctly, you can just add the category of "deserts" to your menu. So under Appearance -> Menus, add the "deserts" category to your menu and remove the "deserts" page.

    Hope that helps 🙂

You don't need to create a page for your archives, they are automatically made. See this link: http://www.mymidwestexistence.com/category/desserts/

If you create another recipe called "dinners" it would be located at: http://www.mymidwestexistence.com/category/dinners/

Hi Jessica... you asked this same question the other day here:

How to get blog post to also post to another page?

But you never replied to my answer whether that was clear or not. You would need to code templates for each page to pull in each category, or get rid of the pages and just use the categories.
