I'm trying to use my WordPress blog as a pseudo-storefront and I want to have all my posts that are product related land on the main page. But I also want to have a page on the site for blog posts where certain posts I make only go to that particular page (posts that are more behind the scenes stuff).

Does anyone know of an easy way to go about this? I've tried with no success.

    Thanks in advance,

    Amie

Create a category for these posts and select that category only using the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives

Thanks for the tip. OK, I'm half way there. Doing that makes all posts checked off as "blog" land on the blog page. Cool. But they're still showing up on the front page. It would be an epic win if I could get them to only show on the blog page.

Did you ever work this out? I too, want to have more than one blog on our website. It would be one blog where the students blog with each other and another blog where the doctors blog with each other. Do you know if this can be done?

Test them first as the first 2 haven't been updated for a while

I'm nearly done making the "blog" portion of my site how I want it to be (http://glittermeetsglue.com/templates/clipartblog/). One last issue: when you click on "blog," it just gives a list of links to the blog posts with no text or images to go with it. That's SERIOUSLY plain looking and I dislike it. I'd rather have my blog posts appear IN FULL when someone clicks on "blog" in the menu. Someone else who is using the exact same theme I'm using has done it.

Does anyone know how I can about doing this? I've tried to play around with the settings but I'm spinning my wheels.

    Thanks in advance. 🙂

You need to select display post content from Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives.
