    Hi!

I would like to display a blog grid loop that pulls my latest blog posts at the bottom of my home page. Much like the current copyblogger.com site. I have looked at this tutorial from Studiopress, but I am not used to creating home.php files and do not know where to put it. http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/genesis-grid-loop/

Is there a way of creating such a blog grid via the functions.php file? If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful!

I am using the Genesis Sample child theme.

    Kind regards,
    Martin Bonnevie-Svendsen

    Hi Martin,

The easiest way to create a simple grid loop is to use this plugin:

    Genesis Grid

Hope you find it useful !

    Hi William!

That is indeed useful. Unfortunately, the plugin does not solve my problem. I want to display the grid loop on my front page below other page content. This plugin appears to apply to blog and archive pages only.

Does anyone know of a way to insert a blog grid below other page content, such as via a widget?

You can try my PRO plugin "Extended Featured Content Widget". At first You need to create a widget area on your home page. This plugin is supporting the Custom Post Type also. So you can easily display the content from your CPT like portfolio, gallery, staff etc.

Download Genesis Featured Posts Combo Widget | Simple Grid Layouts Plugin for Posts, CPTs and terms
