    I am getting an odd gray symbol with my blockquotes. It is on both pages and posts.

    in firebug I an see it says this, but I dont know what to do. thanks in advance for your help.

    blockquote:before {
        content: "â€?“";
        display: block;
        font-size: 30px;
        height: 0px;
        left: -20px;
        position: relative;
        top: -10px;
    }

    Change it to:

    blockquote:before {
        content: '"';
        display: block;
        font-size: 30px;
        height: 0px;
        left: -20px;
        position: relative;
        top: -10px;
    }

    So it's a double quote surrounded by single quotes
