Best slider/hero solution for genesis?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create a custom slider/hero for each page with custom html content and background image. I am struggling to find the right solution and was hoping to some feedback here.

The genesis responsive slider is out because I can’t create custom content for each page. I am looking for a plugin that doesn’t bloat the site and works well with genesis. Any tips?

Forgot to mention that I am currently trying soliloquy, slider revolution, and layer slider but not in love with neither of them.

How many pages?

Are you referring to single pages or archive pages? What type of page?

Please link to a page and where on the page do you want the slider to display?

Also, what theme are you using?

Hi Brad, I am referring to single full-width pages. I was planning to have a hero image with custom html content on the top of each page (under the navigation menu) so there are going to be a lot of pages (around 40-50) with custom hero content. I am currently using showcase pro theme but it's heavily customized.

I'm thinking a plugin would be the easiest way to accomplish this or is there another better solution?

I would use the excerpt meta box to add the content or a custom field and hook in a slider using genesis_after_header.

How many images per page in the slider?

Do you have a tutorial that explains how to accomplish that? Just one static background image per page.
