Best practice to add picture in the top header border

Whats the Best practice to add picture in the top header border, for example if i waned to use the parallax theme the black top border i will like to place a image there instead of the color black, let me know please thinking about getting the theme.

Hi there,
The best practice is do that with some css in the style.css of the theme; just add at the bottom of the file:

.site-header {
background-image: url(image-url);
background-repeat: repeat-x;
background-color: black; /*choose any color for back-up */
}

Look at the website http://www.ew3tech.com that I created using parallax theme. It is quite good theme and I recommend that you buy it.
