    Hi there,

We are using WordPress 4.0, Genesis 2.1.2, and Beautiful Pro Theme. We have installed Events Calendar Pro from Modern Tribe. The calendar plugin allows you to choose the Default Page Template to display the calendar; however, for some reason this page template is affected by the Genesis Content Archives Theme Settings. This means that when we limit content to 1,000 characters and enable display of featured image in the Content Archives section, it doesn't display our calendar properly on it's page. But if we remove these settings, the calendar displays properly but it messes up our site home page because it displays the ENTIRE blog post rather than just a bit of content. So right now we have to use the events template BUT that doesn't allow us to have a sidebar and we want to have one (this plugin doesn't install an actual page you have access to so we have no way of adding a sidebar any other way than by choosing the default page template if we can get it to work).

We contacted the calendar plugin folks and they suggested we ask you why the Post Archive is displaying in this situation on our calendar page? We are working to a deadline so if anyone can help we'd sure appreciate it.
