    I am attempting to add an Amazon banner ad into the Header Right area. I'm using the Text Widget. When I insert the ad code the banner appears but there is an extra blank line above it. Check my home page to see what I mean. The code I'm using is:

    <div class="alignleft">
    <script type="text/javascript">
    amzn_assoc_ad_type = "banner";
    amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon";
    amzn_assoc_region = "US";
    amzn_assoc_placement = "assoc_banner_placement_default";
    amzn_assoc_campaigns = "amazonfresh";
    amzn_assoc_banner_type = "category";
    amzn_assoc_p = "48";
    amzn_assoc_isresponsive = "false";
    amzn_assoc_banner_id = "1MQYS9XC8GMVG3JVDPG2";
    amzn_assoc_width = "728";
    amzn_assoc_height = "90";
    amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "mytrackingid";
    amzn_assoc_linkid = "2251e9248f1c2789403c948bd1e738ca";
    </script>
    <script src="//z-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&Operation=GetScript&ID=OneJS&WS=1"></script>
    </div>

    I selected the banner with my mouse to show where the blank line is:

    null

    Note that adding the same banner code to the After Entry spot (at the end of each article) also produces the same extra line above the banner.

    Even worse is when I try to use the Iframe code version to display the same ad. The banner displays halfway off the screen on the right side.

    The JS script is inserting a "br" break code. Try adding this to your stylesheet or to the Additional CSS box under Appearance > Customize.

    .widget-area.header-widget-area .alignleft {
        margin-top: -25px;
    }

    Thanks for the quick response, Anita. That code worked great. I appreciate it!
